equipping team
“So Christ Himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip His people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” ~ Ephesians 4v.11-13
roger bird
Hi, my name is Roger Bird (everyone: “hi, Roger”) and I have the privilege of doing the majority of the teaching on Sunday mornings, though I’m not what you’d call your typical “pastor” kind of guy. I’m a bit of a screw up and just as imperfect as the next person, but I love Jesus and I love people and have personally seen what God has done in my life and the lives of others.
My purpose in life is to be an advocate of God seekers who have been wounded by the institutional church and to help reconnect them to Jesus and His Great Commandment – to Love God and love people.
If that’s you or if you just have questions or want someone to listen, then let’s talk…

lisa dekryger
Hey! I’m Lisa and I have been a part of The Bridge equipping team from the very beginning. The last couple of years have been an amazing time of seeing God at work in Allegan as we are all learning to “cross together” in this thing called life! At the Bridge you’ll hear us talk about “crossing together” a lot because we realize that none of us has it all together and we need each other’s help to make it through life in one piece. To help us do that, we connect together to support and encourage one another as we learn who we are in Jesus and what His purpose is for our lives. So what bridge do you want to cross this year?. . .a bridge to freedom? a bridge to forgiveness? a bridge to healing? peace? salvation? Whatever it is, come join us and we will cross together with you!!

mike villar
Hey, my name is Mike Villar and I’m primarily in charge of the Worship Teamat the Bridge. I am a reformed ’70′s rocker who loves the Lord. It is my goal that worship at the Bridge be a time where people can honestly come before God and meet with Him.
Worship is a big part of my life, and I can’t believe that I can be in “ministry” doing what I love to do the most, playing and singing! Our whole rockin’ band is in the same spot. We love to play and we love to see God anointing the music and touching people in our congregation. I’d invite you to come out and see God moving at the Bridge through the awesome music and teaching ministries that we have here!

Hi! My name is Doug Rietema. My wife, Cindy, and I are newly imported here from Iowa to Allegan, and have fallen in love with the area and the people. To me, life is a big adventure and I’m always anxious to see what’s around the next corner! I can’t wait to see what God has planned for Allegan and I’m excited to be a part of it!
What’s God going to do next?
