What a take on our obsession in the western church with preaching! 

I say this as one who has the responsibility of preaching every Sunday – Not many people in our communities need another sermon or Bible study but much more need acts of love and kindness to show them that there is hope – that there is One who loves them because there are people who love them. 

We can maximize our impact on others by resisting the artificial urge to invite them to church and instead actually forming genuine relationships and entering into life with them.
